I am about to get on the plane to Namibia again. After a few days acclimatisation it will be time to step up to the start line of the 3rd Namibian 24h Ultra Marathon. I hope that some 20h-24h later I will be as happy as on the photo above again.
Namibia 1 – Joakim 1
This will be my third year in the race. I made it in 2008 and in 2009 I collapsed after about 61km. That makes the score 1-1 and I do not intend to slip behind.
The race starts on the 27 May. I know in the past I have really appreciated your thoughts and cheers for lifting my spirits when the times are dark and just to take a single more step feels a like climbing a mountain.
